Air Transat launches its new Montreal – Dakar route: SICASS provides representation and coordination in DSS
SICASS is proud to take part in the launch of the new air route between Montreal (YUL) and Dakar (DSS), operated by Air Transat since mid-June 2026 with two flights per week.

This new service, operated using Airbus A321LR and Airbus A330 aircraft, marks an important milestone in the development of ties between Canada and West Africa and strengthens the international connectivity of Dakar's airport platform.
The inaugural flight, held on June 18, 2026, took place in the presence of Senegalese and Canadian authorities, as well as key players in the aviation sector, reflecting the strategic importance of this new link between the two continents.
SICASS is especially honored to have been chosen by Air Transat to handle representation and coordination duties at the Dakar stopover. This partnership stands as a mark of trust in our operational expertise and our ability to support airlines in their international development projects.
Being able to represent a carrier as prestigious as Air Transat, on the occasion of its first operational establishment in Africa, holds particular significance for our group.
This new venture is part of an ambitious expansion drive for Air Transat's network, with the opening of several new destinations around the world.
The entire SICASS team extends its heartfelt congratulations to Air Transat and wishes it prosperous growth on the African continent, one that will help strengthen economic, tourism, and cultural ties between Africa and North America.

Launch of Turkish Airlines Operations at Pointe-Noire – SICASS Congo, a Trusted Partner
We are pleased to announce that since February 19, 2026, SICASS Congo has been supporting Turkish Airlines, which now operates four weekly flights at Agostinho-Neto International Airport in Pointe-Noire (PNR).
The additional security and document control services have been entrusted to SICASS Congo, further solidifying its position as a recognized leader in airport security across Congo.
Following a dynamic start to 2025, marked by the opening of SICASS stations at BZV and PNR, SICASS Congo is reaching a new milestone with Turkish Airlines.
This partnership reflects the trust placed in our company, built on our professionalism, field expertise, and unwavering commitment to meeting the international standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Goodbye Air France – Hello Afrijet
On January 31, 2026, SICASS Central African Republic carried out additional security measures for Air France for the last time during its final flight at Bangui M'Poko International Airport in the Central African Republic.
On this occasion, we would like to thank all the Air France teams for their renewed trust since the opening of the station in November 2015. Through the commitment and professionalism of its teams, SICASS has been able to meet the company's operational expectations throughout all these years.
The handover has been taken up by the airline Afrijet, which currently operates twice a week. Afrijet has asked SICASS to also carry out its additional security measures. Our teams will bring all their experience and expertise to implement these measures for this new airline. Air France is not leaving the Central African Republic and is maintaining its joint commercial agency with Afrijet, continuing to sell its tickets to and from Bangui as well as across the entire AF KLM network.
SEN SICASS received by the Minister of Air Transport: a key milestone for development in Senegal
The Minister of Air Transport and the Director of Air Transport received a delegation from SEN SICASS on January 23, 2026. The delegation was represented by Mr. Simon Fall, Country Director, and Mr. Malick Badji, a security agent operating at both Blaise Diagne International Airport and the forward hub of Cap Skirring International Airport.
The main objective of this meeting was the development of the company's airport operations within Senegalese territory.
It represented a major institutional moment, marking strong recognition of SEN SICASS's role at the national level, as well as a decisive step for the positioning and future development of its activities in Senegal.
SICAS Guinea at the Heart of Franco-Guinean Cooperation for Document Security
This Sunday, January 18, 2026, SICAS Guinea had the honor of presenting its services to Minister Éléonore Caroit, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, responsible for Francophonie, as part of her official visit to the Republic of Guinea.
This meeting highlighted the document control cell projects funded by France, as well as the close collaboration between the Guinean Police and SICAS Guinea in the fight against document fraud.
The discussions emphasized the importance of institutional partnership, local capacity building, and the key role played by SICAS Guinea in supporting authorities in the areas of security, document compliance, and international cooperation.

Pink October 2025 - SICAS Guinea
SICAS-Guinea Management, through its Health, Safety and Security (HSS) department, conducted an awareness campaign as part of Pink October 2025 to fight against breast cancer and cervical cancer.A solidarity walk was organized on October 26, bringing together female staff accompanied by several male volunteer colleagues who came to show their commitment and support for this noble cause.This initiative fully aligns with the staff health prevention and promotion policy, aiming to encourage early screening, communication about women's diseases, and collective well-being.The event helped strengthen team cohesion while reminding everyone that women's health is everyone's concern.An exemplary action to be followed across all our stations. AIR ALGÉRIE OPENS N'DJAMENA: double win for SICASS CHAD!
The national carrier Air Algérie began on October 21, 2025, in N'Djamena (Chad) a new Algiers–N'Djamena route (with a stopover in Douala – Cameroon) as part of its winter program, according to a company statement. SICASS was entrusted with additional security measures with an effective operational system. After the return of Royal Air Maroc and the arrival of Air Algérie, the SICASS station in N'Djamena is experiencing new growth. A big thank you to the SICASS team for handling operations and contributing to the successful launch of this new connection.
Appointment of Mr. Quentin Brouyez as Operations Director of SICASS Congo
SICASS is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Quentin Brouyez to the position of Operations Director of SICASS Congo, with responsibility for the Brazzaville (BZV) and Pointe-Noire (PNR) stations starting October 2025.
After completing a thorough and demanding training program at the Conakry station, Quentin is now ready to take on this new challenge and bring his expertise to our operations in Congo.

SICASS Strengthens Its Presence in Africa on the Eve of Its 25th Anniversary
On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, SICASS participated in the 8th edition of the GHI Africa Conference, held in Cape Town, South Africa, a major gathering bringing together key players in the African aviation sector.
This symbolic milestone provided an opportunity to showcase our expertise in airport security and create a privileged space for exchanges with airlines, handlers, and our strategic partners.
The outcomes were particularly positive: quality networking, new contacts, and prospects for future collaborations proved more promising than expected.
This experience is part of a dynamic of visibility and international dialogue, consolidating SICASS's role as an innovative, reliable, and forward looking stakeholder on the African stage.
Royal Air Maroc Returns to N'Djamena
After a five-year interruption, Royal Air Maroc resumed its direct flights between Casablanca and N'Djamena on September 18, 2025. The new service, operating twice weekly (Wednesdays and Saturdays), strengthens Chad's connectivity with the airline's international network.
The inaugural flight went perfectly, thanks in particular to the system deployed by SICASS. Our team handled all security controls and procedures, thereby contributing to the success of RAM's return to N'Djamena.

Dakar Stopover Continues Its Expansion
Concurrently with Congo, starting March 1, 2025, the SICASS stopover in Dakar-DSS provides additional security measures for Air France. The professionalism and commitment of SEN-SICASS staff have made possible a new partnership in Dakar with Air France. For over 25 years, our company has continued to grow and strengthen its presence in Africa by regularly opening new stopovers, demonstrating our recognized expertise and the renewed trust of our partners. Today SICASS is present in 14 countries and at 17 stopovers. We thank all SICASS staff for their decisive contribution to this success.
Congo is Open!
The opening of SICASS Congo on March 1, 2025 coincided with the launch of operations with Air France at the SICASS Brazzaville and Pointe Noire stopovers. These new stopovers are part of both our commitment to continue developing our activities in Africa and the continuation of our partnership with Air France. With BZV and PNR, there are now 11 SICASS stopovers providing additional security measures on behalf of the French national airline. The partnership is already active at BGF, BZV, CKY, COO, DLA, DSS, LAD, LFW, NKC, NSI, PNR. A big thank you to all the teams who were involved in quickly making this opening a reality.
